BiOmics'19 - Symposium on Biomics

The Biotechnology & Bioinformatics area at NIIT University (NU) is organizing a Symposium on "BiOmics" on April 27, 2019. The aim of the symposium is to provide a platform for researchers, academics as well as industry professionals across the country to present and share their research in different facets of recent advances throughout the different areas of omics. The scientific programme includes keynote address, invited lectures and oral/poster sessions on the theme of conference.

The Biotechnology programme at NU is driven by the development of theoretical knowledge base as well as the business needs of the Biotechnology sector. It comprises a flexible model where the course content continuously evolves with the rapid changes occurring in the Biotechnology industry. NU offers B. Tech and Ph.D programme in Biotechnology. Biotechnology at NU, currently has faculty members having expertise in the areas of Microbiology, Biological Chemistry, Analytical Techniques, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics who are engaged in the interdisciplinary research.
