MBA (Finance and Banking) with ICICI Bank

NU partnered with ICICI Bank for an MBA programme that specialised in finance and banking, to help identify banking and finance professionals with a demonstrable aptitude for banking, and nurture them as business leaders. This programme also allowed experienced professionals from across industries – telecom, oil & gas, energy, power, infrastructure, core manufacturing, information technology, accountancy, law, etc., to leapfrog into business leadership positions in corporate India. An annual six-month internship with ICICI bank during each year of the course allowed students to hone their knowledge.

MCA Programme with NIIT Technologies

NU partnered with NIIT Technologies, a leading global IT solutions organisation, to offer a master’s programme in Computer Applications (MCA). This first-of-its-kind six-semester programme was offered to entry level employees of NIIT Technologies. It lent students expertise in the latest frameworks, tools and techniques of software design, development and testing, and allowed them to acquire specialisations in selected verticals. Delivered using best-in-practice pedagogy, students not only worked on a mid-programme minor project, but also industry-relevant projects with the latest research inputs provided by the university in their final semester.

MBA (Intelligent Data Sciences) with NIIT Technologies

The two-year work-integrated MBA programme in Intelligent Data Sciences, in collaboration with NIIT Technologies, focused on encouraging professionals to become the next generation Data Science leaders. The salient features of the programme were:

MBA (Business Analytics) with WNS (Holdings) Ltd

WNS (Holdings) Ltd., a leading provider of global Business Process Management (BPM) services, collaborated with NU to develop NU’s cutting-edge management programme in Business Analytics. It is a comprehensive management programme that covers the fundamental management courses and offers a deep dive into different fields of analytics and data science along with their applications.

Graduates of this programme:

  • Developed their knowledge and skills in various analytical tools and technologies for generating business intelligence pertaining to different functional areas across a variety of industry domains
  • Leveraged Big Data Analytics to create more efficient business processes and accurate performance reporting, thereby enabling businesses to become more competitive, globally

Postgraduate Diploma (Banking and Relationship Management) with Federal Bank

Specifically designed for Federal Bank of India’s (FBI) new managerial level recruits, NU’s Post Graduate Diploma (Banking and Relationship Management) programme enabled participants to develop into bankers with an exceptional flair for relationship management and sales. The 12-week, 69-credit programme incorporated application-oriented courseware and pedagogy in its twenty-one taught courses and concluded with a final internship at FBI. The programme provided students with hands-on experience on Finacle, FBI’s core banking solution.

Postgraduate Diploma (Banking and Finance) with United Bank of India

Specially designed for United Bank of India’s (UBI) new JMG-I level recruits, this postgraduate diploma programme laid a special emphasis on grooming young recruits in banking and finance. The one-year programme was divided into four terms of approximately 12 weeks each with twenty-one taught courses and a final internship at UBI. Application-oriented courseware and pedagogy enabled participants to develop into bankers with exception skills in banking operations. It also gave them hands-on experience working with Finacle, UBI’s core banking solution.

Postgraduate Diploma (Banking and Finance) with Bank of Maharashtra

This one-year programme was specifically designed by NU for Bank of Maharashtra’s (BoM) probationary officers. Co-created in partnership with BoM, the 69-credit course was divided into four terms of approximately 12 weeks each. It comprised twenty-one taught courses and a final internship at BoM. Students were not only introduced to different aspects of finance and banking, but they were also given hands-on experience with BoM’s core banking solution.
