Dr. Anshima P Srivastava, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities in NIIT University, where she teaches Communication. She was awarded D.Phil on the topic, “Use of History, Myth and Folklore in the Plays of Brecht and Karnad: A Comparative Study” from the University of Allahabad. She has also been a recipient of the University Scholarship for Doctoral Thesis during her research period. Her Masters’ Degree is in English Literature from the University of Allahabad, and her Graduation too is from the same University.
Before joining NIIT University, she has served as Assistant Professor at the Galgotias University, Greater Noida for two years (from August 2011 to August 2013). Prior to that, she worked as Lecturer at SP Memorial Institute of Technology, Allahabad (from August 2009 to August 2011), and United College of Engineering and Research, Allahabad (from August 2005 to December 2007). She started her career as Guest Lecturer with the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.
Theatre attracts her, and she has acted in Five Plays with the Theatre for Peace Group, University of Allahabad, which was staged in Allahabad and Varanasi.
