Amit Kumar is Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering Department in NU. He is pursuing Ph.D. in Computer Science from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, New Delhi. He did his B.. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from U. P. Technical University, Lucknow & M. Tech in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He did his M.Tech in Web Mining and proposed the effective solution for Web Spam problem encountered by search engines. His PhD is in Mining Software Repositories which amalgamates Data mining and Software Engineering and pursue to solve software engineering problems through mining huge amount of data generated during Software Development Process. In particular, he is interested towards making collaboration among developers and other stakeholders in software development and maintenance process more effective and efficient. He has one paper in his account published in ACM-ISEC 2013. His research poster was also selected for showcasing at Microsoft Techvista-2011. Microsoft Techvista is renowned yearly research event conducted by Microsoft Research India where PhD students from all over India participate and selected PhD students are invited to showcase their research in form of Posters.
