Step 1: Please go to https://nucleus.niituniversity.in/phd/ and create an account for yourself by providing the details specified in the registration form. Fill in the Online Application Form. OR Download the Ph.D Admission Application Form, print the same and submit the completed form along with all the required documents in one of the following ways:

The Application fee of INR 1500/- can be paid online or by cheque/demand draft in favour of NIIT University, payable at Gurgaon. If the Application fee is paid in cheque/demand draft, then the completed application form along with the required documents and Application Fee should be submitted in person only.
Step 2: NU will send an acknowledgement of the receipt of the Admission Application Form within 3 days of receiving the application.
Step 3: The Dean Research Office will notify eligible applicants about the online link for entrance exam. The entrance exam will be a combination of multiple choice and/or short answer type questions. These questions will be drawn from core subjects and will test the general aptitude for research. The entrance exam will carry 40% weightage.
Step 4: Interview of shortlisted candidates will be conducted online and link will be provided. The interview will carry 60% weightage.
Step 5: An admission offer will be made to the selected applicants within 5 working days of the completion of the interview via SMS, Email and Courier. Applicants may be put on a waitlist.
Step 6: The selected candidates should submit the Admission Acceptance Letter duly signed by them and their parent/guardian/spouse along with a non-refundable Admission Acceptance fee of INR 25,000 (Rupees Twenty five thousand only) and the applicable fee within 5 working days of receiving the offer letter by electronic transfer or Demand Draft (in favour of NIIT University, payable at Gurgaon).
Step 7: Students should arrive on the University campus on 1st September 2020 to complete the first set of registration formalities. The formalities include verification of all mark sheets and certificates.
