If an Applicant scores first division in any 2 exams either 10, 12 or Graduation (Any combination) and second division in the third exam is eligible for the programme.
Any Applicant who is working professional with minimum 3 years of work experience, or completes 3 years on or before 31 July 2019, then in that case over all required marks in class X, XII and graduation should be equal or more than 50%.
Applicant must have secured ≥ 50% in relevant Bachelor’s and Master’s (if applicable) as mentioned below, Master’s degree is not required for Engineering Graduates.
Master’s Degree holders in Remote Sensing, Geomatics, Geoinformatics, Environmental Sciences, GI Sciences, Physical Sciences, Geology, Ecology, Geography, Anthropology, Archaeology, Economic Geography or related areas and those who are completing their Degree in the current academic year.
Bachelor’s Degree holders in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture and those who are completing their Degree in the current academic year.
Professionals with 3 year- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in any of the above mentioned areas.
Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institute of Engineers (India); AMICE by Institute of Civil Engineers (India)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech.
Terms and conditions Masters Programme
Duly completed Admission Application form must be submitted by the specified date with all the necessary documents as specified in the prospectus/admission notification along with the application fee.
Applicant must submit the fee as follows:
Applicants should pay the balance applicable fee as per the preferred payment plan, i.e., Annual/Semester along with the refundable interest-free security deposit by June 12, 2019 or within 5 working days after receiving Admission Offer Letter whichever is later.
The scanned copy of Acceptance Letter along with the payment details should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or couriered to Central Admissions Office/Regional Admissions Office, failing which the offer will stand withdrawn automatically.
Admission is valid only for the programme stated in the offer letter for the academic year 2019.
Submission of proof (with attested copy) of having passed the Graduation/Post Graduation examination from any Indian University or equivalent from abroad with minimum marks as specified and wherever applicable, the Competitive Entrance Examination scores/ranking within 5 days from the date of admission offer or Sept 1, 2019 whichever is earlier.
Incomplete applications will be rejected by the University.
Failure to adhere to any of the steps of the admission process will cause the offer of admission to be automatically withdrawn.
The grant of admission and scholarship is based on the disclosures made by the applicant. If any disclosure is found incorrect or inaccurate later, the University may withdraw the scholarship or suspend or terminate admission or withhold the degree of the candidate.
Admission to the University is granted at the sole discretion of the University Admission Committee.
Any attempt to influence the admission process will cause the applicant to be disqualified from participating in the admission process.
