Integrated MBA Admission Process

Prospective applicants interested in seeking admissions in NU under any of the Admissions Modes (EAD/RAD) must follow the procedure given below:

Step 1: The hard copy of Application Form can be obtained from any of the designated Admissions Offices of NU

Step 2: Submit the duly completed admission application form along with all the required documents, using ANY of the following modes:

  • Online at our website: www.niituniversity.in. Attach scanned copies of all the required documents as specified in the application form.
  • Courier the printed copy of the form by post to the NU Central Admissions Office at NIIT House, 85, Sector 32, Institutional Area, Gurugram, Haryana – 122001.
  • E- Mail a scanned copy to admissions@niituniversity.in along with the scanned copies of all the documents required.
  • Submit a printed copy of the form in person to a duly authorized representative, details of which are available on our website.

Note:

  • Those Applicants who have the Class XII score of either 2018 or 2019 should also submit a self-attested mark sheet of Class XII. If forms are submitted online, a scanned copy of all the required documents should also be attached.
  • Candidates who have applied before March 31, 2020, have to submit a self-attested copy of the admit card of the Class XII board examination with the reference of their application number.


Step 3:
Schedule the NU-AIP online by selecting the NU-AIP location closest to you and the time slot most convenient for you. In case you need assistance to schedule the NU-AIP, the relevant admissions office can be contacted.

  1. The eligible Applicants undergo the NU-AIP (Admission Interaction Process) either face-to-face or through video conferencing on the day and time selected by them.
  2. The following is assessed during the NU-AIP
    1. Aptitude & Analytical ability
    2. English communication skills - written & oral
    3. Interest & hobbies
    4. Degree of self-awareness
    5. Out-of-the-box thinking
    6. Reasons for the choice of stream
  3. Applicants' parents/guardian are invited for an interaction with the NU team. The interactions can be either face-to-face or through video conferencing. The parent/guardian interaction is typically scheduled on the same day as the NU-AIP. Parents/guardian interaction is mandatory before offer of Admission of NU.
  4. The steps involved in the NU-AIP are mentioned below.

    For Management Programmes (I-MBA):
    1. Questionnaire
    2. NUET (NU Engineering Test) / Valid National/ State Level Entrance Test
    3. Interaction with Faculty Advisor & Admissions Advisor
    4. Personal Counselling Interaction (PCI) with NU NU-AIP Panel

Step 4: On receipt of The Offer for Admission, Selected candidates should submit the Acceptance Letter duly signed by them and their parent/guardian within 5 working days of receiving the Admission Offer letter along with a non-refundable acceptance fee as follows:

  1. INR 15,000 under EAD
  2. INR 25,000 under RAD

Step 5: Applicants intimate their Class XII results (if not intimated along with the application form) to NU Admissions Office with the reference of the application number latest by May 15, 2020. In case the results of the Class XII examination are not announced by the board by then, the Applicant should inform the university admissions office of the delay and seek a written extension for submission of the Class XII results. Applicants must submit proof (self-attested copy) of having passed the Class XII Board examination from any Indian Board or equivalent from outside India with a minimum of 60% marks for Technology Programmes and 50% marks for Management Programmes

Step 6: A Final admission Offer is made via email to the EAD Applicants after intimation of the Class XII results within 5 days of receipt by NU Admissions. For RAD, the Final Admission Offer is made via email after the NU-AIP with the Applicant and the parent/guardian interaction, either within 3 days after the announcement of the class XII results or within two working days of NU-AIP whichever is later.

Step 7: Once selected, candidates enroll into the programme as follows:

  1. All Applicants offered admission before May 15, 2020 should pay the balance applicable fee as per the preferred payment plan i.e. Semester/Annual along with refundable interest-free security deposit by May 25, 2020. Gurugram. The fee can be paid by cash, through electronic transfer (credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking), or by demand draft in favor of NIIT University, payable at Gurugram. From here their status changes from a 'Applicant' to a 'Candidate' of NU.
  2. Applicants who have applied after May 15, 2020, if offered admission, should submit the acceptance letter duly signed and pay the non-refundable acceptance fee along with the applicable fee (as per the selected payment plan of Semester/Annual) and interest-free, refundable security deposit within 5 working days from the receipt of offer letter of RAD sent to the student via SMS, email and courier.. The fee can be paid by, through electronic transfer (credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking), or by demand draft in favor of NIIT University, payable at Gurugram. Gurugram

Step 8: EAD Students join the University campus by early July ( exact date to be communicated subsequently) and start the exclusive "Head Start Boot Camp" (HSBC) programme followed by RESONANCE after completing the registration formalities including verification of original mark-sheets of class X and XII and other requisite details.
