NIIT University along with Ruckus Wireless, USA shall be entering into a collaboration to set up a state of the art wireless laboratory at the campus in Neemrana. This shall be an excellent opportunity for the technology enthusiasts to enhance their understanding on wireless network by getting a hands on exposure to the very latest in this area. This shall be the first ever lab in India and a pioneering effort in enhancing the research bent of mind in the students in wireless networking.
The lab will provide a platform to give useful insights into interoperability and performance testing and, in some cases, custom optimization, Video conferencing, Collaborative framework/applications (e.g., Gaming), Live TV, Wireless Security.
The state-of-the-art technology-enabled teaching methodology backed by a strong research-focused curriculum for facilitating a continuous process of learning and development shall get a definite impetus with the functioning of the laboratory at the NU Campus .
Ruckus Wireless, USA is one of the finest Wireless network providers and aims to create an ecosystem of complementary products, such as dual band access point phones, VoIP systems, firewalls, VPN concentrators, switches, routers, client network interface cards and other networking solutions, to accelerate the deployment of a Smart Wi-Fi based wireless LANs.
