Dear Friends, We are at the best of times in so many ways. The transformation and flux is the highest at this time providing the best opportunity to change-ourselves and the world around us. During my recent interactions with academicians across the globe, one thing that struck me the most was the absolute admiration we receive as Indians. It is a spectacular feeling to see people being in awe of the massive scale of educational initiatives as well as diversity; a strength inherent to a country like India. This brings me to the point of the eco system at NU in which we operate. As we grow from strength to strength we must become more conscientious towards our role as members of the NU family. It is not the recognition that one gets from extrinsic world that reinforces our resolve but the inner aspiration that silently works towards reaching our goals. It is indeed a moment of pride when the ideas and aspirations get translated into action. The month of April in so many ways was the joy of giving month. We take pride in our social connect with the community and this month all students at NU participated in the initiatives with renewed enthusiasm and dynamism. From mentoring the students at the community to spending time in understanding their problems, the students exhibited exceptional qualities of empathy, compassion and benevolence. We are proud of them and confident that they will rise and shine with each passing day! For students of Class 12, who target to score well in Board exams, an added anxiety is to get into a good University that will shape their career. So many times opportunities seem so near – yet so far. Our endeavour through this feature is to enable such individuals explore maximum opportunities and select the best. Dr. Shradha Kanwar |

| The students of MBA (Finance & Banking) Batch 2 left for their internship to various locations as part of the second phase of their MBA journey that began six months back. But before leaving, their beautiful gesture of giving back to the community won the hearts of many. The Batch collected old clothes and donated an amount of around INR 11000 with the support of NU Administration. The amount helped in purchasing good quality basic ration items and nutritive food products which were distributed to the not so privileged strata residing in Neemrana. Clothes, blankets, foot wear and personal care items were also collected and shared with the community who were overjoyed with the parcels they received. We are proud of the exceptional thought and special initiative of our dear students and wish them the very best in their internship.
