A Mentor Professor is
- a thought leader
- an exemplary teacher , and
- a profound researcher
S/he is a senior faculty member in an area of specialization relevant to the program offerings at NU. This eminent faculty member would team up with a few other Professors/ Associate Professors and a sizeable number of young, energetic and bright Ph Ds as Assistant Professors in the area. One of the Professors/ Associate professors would be the Area Leader for a particular area of program offerings to coordinate and administer the activities of the particular area. No administrative responsibilities shall vest with the Mentor Professor.
Our Mentor Professors:
Mentor Professors are drawn from the premier institutions and leading industry groups who have either retired from active service or are willing to take a sabbatical for a year or two, to be the resident faculty on NIIT University Campus at Neemrana , Rajasthan .
Our esteemed Mentor Professors this year are Prof. R.N.Biswas in Computer Science and Engineering and Prof. Vijay Vasantrao Mandke in Educational Technology.
