Holistic development of the personality of a student has been a bitter casualty in the present day Higher Education (HE) System in India. While the reasons for this are many, the intent here is not to dwell on them. However, the situation does warrant remedial measures from institutions to try to correct the malady and in turn, send out well-rounded graduates from their portals to face the challenges in the real world.
NIIT University (NU) therefore, proposes to fulfill this responsibility by putting in place an institution of ‘Founding Professors’ to meet this challenge, who would guide the students and community on the NU Campus at Neemrana, Rajasthan.
Founding Professors are very senior and highly accomplished professionals in their respective fields of specialization, with a passion to inspire youth. As institution builders and well-wishers of the new University, they will lead and guide the NU community to attain its vision & mission, to find a special place on the world map. They will leave behind a legacy to be carried forward by NU way into the future.
