PAPER PRESENTATIONS DURING 2010-11

Dr. Anuradha Parasar represented NIIT University at XVII International conferences workshop 300x225 Conferences & WorkshopsSociological Association World Congress of Sociology, Sociology on the Move, Gothenburg, Sweden from 13 – 17 July, 2010.  International Sociological Association Congress is held once in four years and Dr. Anuradha Parasar presented the paper titled Internal Migration in India  – An Analysis in Research Committee – 12.05: Law & Migration for which she has been awarded paper presentation certificate.

  • NIIT University was represented in an International Conference on Education, Research and Innovation 2010 held at Madrid, Spain from November 15 to 17. Dr. Shradha Kanwar presented two papers; shradha kanwar at conf Conferences & Workshops‘Knowledge Management – Taking education beyond excellence’ and ‘Reconstructing the impact of Psychosocial barriers for beneficial learning’ during the Conference. Both papers were well received and appreciated. The forum was an excellent platform to interact with academicians and researchers from across the globe in sharing novel ideas in content and pedagogy while keeping in mind the changing world scenario.
  • Arindam Chaudhuri, Assistant Professor, Computer Science Engineering presented papers titled “Fuzzy Mixed Integer Optimization Model for Regression Approach” and conf work2 Conferences & Workshops “Possibility Theory for Quantitative Modeling of Operational Risk” in two International Conferences viz. Scientific Paradigm Shift in Information Technology and Management (SPSITM) and International Finance Conference (IFC) at Kolkata. SPSITM was jointly organized by Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata and Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata from January 4 to 7 and IFC was organized by Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata January 9 to 12.
  • Dr. Nutan Bharati participated in an International Conference on Publishing in India: Challenges & Opportunities – Jan 2011 where she presented the concept of rural voice as first person literature. Architects and pioneers of publishing industry both in India and abroad shared and presented ideas on establishing a School of Publishing Studies with undergraduate and specialized programs in publishing at tertiary level on global campuses.
  • Dr. Deepak Khanna presented a paper entitled “Wah Taj! How the Tata Leadership faced the Terror Attack” at an international conference on Management Perspectives: Emerging Trends and Leadership Challenges on March 24&25, 2011 in Amity University, Jaipur. This paper has been included in the proceedings of the conference.
  • Dr. Gurpyari Bhatnagar presented a paper on ‘Frye’s Criticism: Forerunner of Demystified Theory’ at the International seminar, ‘Theory at Work’ at Banaras Hindu University which was held from 9th – 11th November, 2010. She also presented a paper on ‘Drama – A Powerful Tool for Teaching Communication’ at the National Seminar, ‘Emerging Trends in Communication’ at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun on 3rd , 4th of  December,2010 where she received the second best paper award.
  • Indian Institute of Management, Indore organized ‘3rd Conference on Excellence in Research and Education’ from 13th to 16th May 2011. Delegates and Experts from all over the country shared their views about the research in different areas of management. Ajay Kumar, Assistant Professor in Management, presented two empirical papers entitled “OSL – Exploratory behavior congruence – A Comparative study of Delhi and Kolkata” and “Organizations inclination towards CRM Implementation and its impact: Empirical evidences”.
