BTech Program:

Course Content

• Customized curriculum aligned to the industry needs

Course begins from 15th September 2009 at NIIT University, Neemrana, Rajasthan

Eligibility

• Minimum 60 % marks in High School (10th) examination

• Minimum 60 % marks in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any Board in India or its equivalent from any other country

Selection Process:

Category 1: Toppers in 10+2 in all Boards in India

Admission by invitation to all toppers of all Boards in India conducting 10+2 examination, provided they have secured minimum 60 % marks in High School (10th) examination

Category 2: JEE-2009/AIEEE-2009 Qualified Applicants

A list of all JEE/AIEEE qualified candidates excluding category 1, will be prepared on the following considerations:

• 15% weightage to the marks obtained in the High School (10th) examination
• 15% weightage to the marks obtained in 10+2 examination
• 50% weightage to the rank obtained in JEE /AIEEE, whichever is higher

The University is planned under the Government of Rajasthan Education (Gr–4) Department Guidelines for the Establishment of Private Universities by separate Act dated 26.07.2007. The first admissions cycle for PhD, MTech and BTech programs is now ready to begin for the academic year 2009-10, on receiving Government notification. A Letter of Intent (LOI) to this effect has been received from the Government of Rajasthan. The necessary compliance report has been filed with the authorities of the Government of Rajasthan after addressing all requirements stipulated in the aforesaid LOI.
