Building talent through hobby clubs
Knowledge comes not only from books but also from experience. We at NU let the students explore their passions for themselves. From discovering the art of photography to encouraging scientific curiosity and attitude, the clubs cater to varied interests of the students. The clubs foster critical thinking skills, confidence and above all imagination. Following clubs organized and operated by students exist as on date and enhance the student experience at NU:
i)PHOTOGRAPHY–The wonders of photography are shared with the students,thus helping them to develop technically and artistically.
ii)MUSIC & DANCE CLUB–This is where our students discover different genres of dance & music and experience rhythm and beats from around the world.
iii)HARD WIRES-Activities are designed to stimulate interest in experimenting.
iv)DEBATING & ELOCUTION-The aim of the club is to hone speaking skills and communication abilities of the students.
v)JOKE MANUFACTURING GANG–The right platform for the witty lot.
vi)FILMY FRIDAY-A perfect place to hone the acting skill.
vii)ARAVALI CLUB- For the ones who have the passion for outdoor recreation and want to learn hiking and climbing skills.
ix)STAR GAZERS-For the ones who have common interest in astronomy and want to share events pertaining to anything celestial.
x)TECHNOFEST-This is for all the techie wizards who keep devising innovative gadgets and gizmos.
