I. Mode of payment of University and Hostel Fees:

The fee structure of NU, as given above, is on the premise of annual payment of the respective fees. However, selected candidates will have the option to pay the above fees in any one of the following modes:

1. Annual payment of (i) the University fee of Rs 2,20,000 and (ii) Hostel rental of Rs 1,48,500, as prescribed for the Academic Year 2010-11.

2. Semester-wise payment for each of the two semesters of the Year 2010-11 amounting to (i) the University fee of Rs 1,10,000 for the first semester and Rs 1,15,000 for the second semester and (ii) Hostel rental of Rs 74,000 for the first semester and Rs 82,000 for the second semester based on the prescribed fee structure for the Academic Year 2010-11

3. Upfront payment of the fees for four years amounting to (i) lump sum University fee of Rs 8,80,000 and (ii) lump sum Hostel rental of Rs 5,94,000 based on the prescribed fee structure for the Academic Year 2010-11.

Mode of payment of University and Hostel Fees:

The fee structure of NU, as given above, is on the premise of annual payment of the respective fees. However, selected candidates will have the option to pay the above fees in any one of the following modes:

1. Annual payment of (i) the University fee of Rs 4,40,000 and (ii) Hostel rental of Rs 1,48,500 as prescribed for the Academic Year 2010-11

2. Semester-wise payment for each of the two semesters of the Year 2010-11 amounting to (i) the University fee of Rs 2,20,000 for the first semester and Rs 2,30,000 for the second semester and (ii) Hostel rental of Rs 74,000 for the first semester and Rs 82,000 for the second semester based on the prescribed fee structure the Academic Year 2010-11.

3. Upfront payment of the fees for two years amounting to (i) lump sum University fee of Rs 8,80,000 and (ii) lump sum Hostel rental of Rs 2,97,000 based on the prescribed fee structure for the Academic Year 2010-11.

Ph D Fee and Scholarship :

Fee and Fellowships :

1. All registered full time Ph D scholars shall be required to assist half time in the teaching/research activities. In lieu of the services, NU shall not charge any university fees (computed at Rs. 4,40,000/annum) from the registered full time Ph D scholars.
2. All registered full time Ph D scholars shall be paid a scholarship of upto Rs. 20,000/ month for the year 2010-11.

Loans from Indian Overseas bank:

NIIT University, in collaboration with its Banking Partner Indian Overseas Bank (hereinafter “Bank”), will assist in channelizing Education Loan to desirable students at convenient rates and terms.  Students are free to avail of this facility. However, by such assistance by NIIT University to the students in getting the Education Loan from the Bank, NIIT University will not be a Party to the Loan Agreement signed between the Bank and the student.  Therefore, NIIT University shall not be responsible for any liability which may arise out of loan transaction between Bank and the student.
