REFUND OF INTEREST-FREE SECURITY DEPOSIT
The deposit amount will be refunded to the student on completion of the four- year programme subject to any deductions on account of any books not returned to the library or any damages caused to the equipment and infrastructure of the University, etc.
REFUND OF SEMESTER/ANNUAL/LUMP SUM FEES
The semester/annual/lump sum fees will be refunded subject to a deduction of INR10, 000 (Rupees Ten thousand only) towards processing charges, under any of the following conditions:
- If the candidate has not secured minimum marks in the class XII Board examinations as specified in the admission offer letter. The intimation on occurrence of such an event should be received by the Admissions Coordinator along with the attested copy of the mark-sheet latest by June 15, 2012.
- University receives a written request from the candidate stating intent to not pursue the B.Tech. programme at NU and therefore requesting a refund of Semester/Annual/Lump sum fees on or before May 31, 2012.
- If the Board from which the candidate has given her/his Class XII examination has not declared the result before the last date to submit the Admission Application Form to NU and therefore the candidate is unable to submit information pertaining to the marks obtained in Class XII Board examinations by June 15, 2012.
- Once the Semester/Yearly/Lump sum fees are refunded, validity of the admission is terminated immediately.
REFUND OF EAD ACCEPTANCE FEE
The EAD Acceptance fee of INR 10,000 (applicable for candidates admitted under EAD) is non-refundable.
PROCESSING TIME
The refund will be processed within four weeks of receiving the request and the same being accepted by the University.
