M Tech Program in Pervasive Systems and Embedded Systems
1. Minimum 60% marks in High School (10th) exam
2. Minimum 60% marks in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics from any Board in India or its equivalent from any other country
3. Minimum 60 % marks or a CGPA of 6.67 on a scale of 10 or its
equivalent in
- 4-year BE/ B Tech or its equivalent in the engineering streams
of Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics,
Electronics & Communications, Electrical
OR
- Master in Computer Applications (MCA)
Or
- Masters in CSE/Electronics/IT/Physics from any recognized
University in India or abroad
4. Letter of sponsorship from employer

M Tech Program in ET (Educational Technology)

1. Minimum 60% marks or equivalent in 10th exam or its equivalent board in India or abroad
2. Minimum 60% marks or equivalent in 10+2 exam or its equivalent board in India or abroad
3. Minimum 60% or equivalent in
A 4-year B. Tech. degree in any field
Or a Masters degree in any field
Or a 3-year Bachelors degree or equivalent with at least two years adequate IT training and professionally practicing in a ET relevant industry/organization/dept/desk in India or abroad.

M.Tech. Program in Bioinformatics

3. Minimum 60 % marks or a CGPA of 6.67 on a scale of 10 or its equivalent in 4-year BE/ B Tech/ BS in Biotechnology / Bioinformatics/CS/CSE/ IT
OR
MSc/MS in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/CS/CSE/IT from any recognized University in India or abroad

Admission Process, Fees and Calendar
Admission to the program would be offered based on the following:
• 5 % weightage to the marks obtained in the High School (10th) examination
• 10% weightage to the marks obtained in 10+2 examination
• 25% weightage to the marks obtained in Graduation
• 20% weightage to the Experience on a scale of 0-20 for 24 months
• 40% weightage to the performance in the interview

IV. Mode of payment of University and Hostel Fees:

The fee structure of NU, as given above, is on the premise of annual payment of the respective fees. However, selected candidates will have the option to pay the above fees in any one of the following modes:

1. Annual payment of (i) the University fee of Rs 4,40,000 and (ii) Hostel rental of Rs 1,00,000 as prescribed for the Academic Year 2011-12
2. Semester-wise payment for each of the two semesters of the Year 2011-12 amounting to (i) the University fee of Rs 2,20,000 for the first semester and Rs 2,30,000 for the second semester and (ii) Hostel rental of Rs 50,000 for the first semester and Rs 55,000 for the second semester based on the prescribed fee structure the Academic Year 2011-12 .
3. Upfront payment of the fees for two years amounting to (i) lump sum University fee of Rs 8,80,000 and (ii) lump sum Hostel rental of Rs 2,00,000 based on the prescribed fee structure for the Academic Year 2011-12.
